Dr. Farjoodi is an orthopaedic spine surgeon who attended the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Farjoodi went on to complete an extra spine fellowship at the University of California, San Diego where he trained in the most advanced techniques available, including minimally invasive and revision surgery.
He has published numerous articles on the topics of orthopaedic surgery and spine surgery in peer- reviewed journals. He has served as a contributing team physician for the Baltimore Orioles and contributed to the care of the US Naval Academy football team. Dr. Farjoodi believes in taking the time to explain each patient’s problem in detail and presenting treatment options in order to help make the appropriate decision on a case-by-case basis. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Farsi.
