Serato has been selected as the 2012 Americana Man of the Year by the Cypress College Foundation and in 2011 was named a Hometown Hero by PEOPLE Magazine. Most recently Bruno was recognized as a Top 10 2011 CNN Hero. Bruno received this distinction internationally televised CNN Heroes: An All Star Tribute hosted by Anderson Cooper and was introduced by Jerry Seinfeld. More recently in 2013, Bruno Serato was knighted by the Italian Consulate giving him the title, “Sir Bruno Serato”.
